It's a bookstore. 

The Bible, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy, Christian Science Quarterly Bible Lessons, The Christian Science Monitor, and The Christian Science Sentinel, Herald, and Journal are all sold here.  Tapes and CD's of healing experiences and of hymns are available.  There are children's books of Bible stories and cards with the Beatitudes and the Commandments in a format easy for children to understand.

It's a place for Bible study, prayer, and spiritual refreshment.

The Lending Library room has a comfortable place to sit and read from the Bible, from Christian Science periodicals, or from other books of interest to Bible students.

The Study Room has the current week's Bible Lesson marked in the Bible (KJV) and Science and Health for reading.  There are also several Bible translations, Bible commentaries, Bible dictionaries, an unabridged dictionary, and other resources to assist you in your Bible study.  It provides a peaceful place for taking a "spiritual break" from your busy day.

If you are interested in researching a particular subject from older Christian Science periodicals, there are bound volumes of past Sentinels and Journals in the sales room and the computer room.  The computer room has a computer loaded with Project Discovery, a tool that allows the user to locate "vintage"  articles of special interest.  There is a copier to make copies, if a special article piques your interest.

It's a lending library.

You may decide to borrow one of the books from the lending library area so that you can spend a little more time at home, reading or studying it.

It's a place to ask questions.

If you have questions about Christian Science, talk with the Librarian on duty.  He or she is knowledgeable about Christian Science and can help with information about where to look for further answers to your questions.
