Understanding
the Bible
spiritually is the foundation of what is taught in the Christian
Science Sunday School. Infants and young children come into the
Sunday School from the Infants room around
the age of three. Young people and older Bible students continue
in our classes up to the age of twenty. All young people are
welcome to attend.
The Sunday School holds classes through out the year at the
same hour as the Sunday Church Services.

The starting point of all religion is God, and Sunday School
classes explore the spiritual
synonyms and qualities that help
explain who God is and what he does for each one of us.
Christ Jesus' Beatitudes, Moses' ten Commandments, the
Lord's Prayer, and the Golden Rule are central to the younger
classes, and students memorize these and also explore their
deeper meanings and how to apply these spiritual laws to their
lives. Students are encouraged to practice these rules and
find out how to make them practical on a daily basis.
Familiar Bible Stories are also repeated, and used to illustrate
how fundamental these spirituals truths are to our everyday
activities - in our laws and in our treatment of others.
The Weekly
Bible Lesson is central to the continuing Bible
education of students in the older classes. The Bible is systematically
explored in detail. Understanding spiritual ideas and Biblical
continuity, such as the eternal Christ, builds on the lessons
of earlier classes.
Deeper questions such as "What is man as God's
image and likeness" are explored. Students are encouraged
to think deeply about the spiritual aspects of Life, Truth
and Love and to practically apply what they discover in their
daily living.
